This workshop will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to be NDIS experts by understanding what information is required and the likely arguments that may be faced. Become a service provider that NDIS participants ask for by name!

Get it right the first time.

Individuals and providers waste hours of their time writing and providing documentation to the NDIS, only to find their patient who needs assistance is denied access to the NDIS.

People are often declined by the NDIS because health professionals (and even NDIS delegates) are not knowledgeable of current legislation or the rights of people with disabilities.

Knowing people’s rights provides not only a clear, easy-to-follow structure for writing the required reports, but also the knowledge and skills needed to advocate for your patients and clients when support is denied.

We provide a clear overview of legal rights in plain language, as well as the evidence and documents required for NDIS applications. This training will give you the knowledge and confidence to support and advocate for those you care for.

What’s covered in this workshop?

  • Understand the NDIS
  • The legal rights of individuals living with disability and mental illness.
  • Common misconceptions
  • What the NDIS does not cover
  • When the NDIS is not suitable
  • The criteria to be met for access to the NDIS
  • How to apply for the NDIS.
  • What is required from professionals and supporting evidence required.
